Where Andre was held prisoner......
The picture of "Where Andre was held prisoner..." is of the De Wint House or Washington's Headquarters during the Andre trial. Andre was held in the old '76 House in Tappan. GW provided meals from his table at the DeWint House to Andre at the '76 House. The DeWint House is owned and operated by the Grand Lodge of Masons of NY. I am the former curator and a Board Member. I have included some pictures of the old '76 House for your posting.
