The Getman Association Family Reunion will be held August 11, 2007 at the Jordanville Federated Church.  The church members are going to prepare lunch which will be at noon.  After the lunch and meeting a visit will be made to the Dutch Reformed Church Cemetery, Columbia.  The cemetery is about five miles from the church.

Arrangements are being made for a local historian to make a presentation concerning early Getman accomplishments and activities in the townships of Warren and Columbia

The menu will be pulled pork, rolls, potato salad, cole slaw, baked beans and fruit salad.  There will be available a substitute menu for children (hot dogs) if they insist.  Please note other dietary concerns when making your reservation.  The cost is estimated to be $8 per person.  Proceeds will be used to suppport the Jordanville Federated Church of Christ.

Directions to church - US Rt 20 to Richfield Springs.  North on NYS Rt. 167 to Jordanville  OR Interstate 90 (NYS Thruway) to the Herkimer exit.  South on NYS Rt 28 approximately 7 miles.  (Watch for Getman Corners at approximately 5 miles).  Left on County Rt. 18 at the blinking light.  The church is toward the east end of town, on the north side of the road (only church in town.)
